Hi I’m Hermione!

I’m a freelance illustrator. My work covers a variety of industry areas including children’s picture books, book jacket design and mural painting. I create my illustrations by hand using traditional processes.

The main theme in my work is an environmental consideration in which I like to discuss topics including the natural environment, rural spaces and climate change. When I’m not busy in the studio I like to take long walks in the countryside and get involved with climate activism in groups such as extinction rebellion.
