Diary of a Young Naturalist by Dara McAnulty

A book jacket design completed for the Penguin Book cover design awards. I was very much inspired by Dara’s beautiful writing when it came to designing this cover. The blackbird on the front is designed to symbolise Dara and the landscpe behind is inspired by the descriptions of Irish forests in the book. I recommend giving it a read!
